UD Trucks Singapore Celebrates Teamwork and Achievements at ‘Better Life’ Teambuilding & Appreciation Night

On January 17th, 2025, the UD Trucks Singapore team came together for a memorable day of teambuilding and appreciation, themed “Better Life.” This event provided a fantastic opportunity for everyone to relax, connect, and celebrate their collective achievements. The events were honored by the presence of Ito-san (UD Trucks Chairman) and Aiba-san (CFO & SVP Finance and Business Office).

The afternoon began with an insightful talk on sustainable habits and lifestyles, focusing on reducing plastic use. This was followed by a teambuilding activity where employees from various functions collaborated to upcycle plastic bottles and soft plastics into tables and stools. The enthusiasm and teamwork were truly inspiring, resulting in the creation of 2 tables and 13 chairs, now proudly displayed in the UD Trucks Singapore Dealership office.

The day continued with an appreciation dinner to honor the employees’ dedication and hard work over the past year. The evening featured a delicious buffet of local dishes, a treasure hunt, and a karaoke competition that revealed some hidden singing talents. The highlight of the night was the lucky draw, which saw 60 delighted winners taking home impressive prizes.

Special recognition was given to the Corporate Social Responsibility committee, IT, emcees, and the HR team who also served as the organizing committee, for their efforts in making the day’s events a success.

Overall, the teambuilding and appreciation dinner was a resounding success. It not only strengthened team spirit but also underlined the importance of working together towards common goals and a better life for the planet.
