On March 5th 2024, Isuzu East Africa secured distributorship rights for UD Trucks in Kenya, taking charge of assembly, sales, and aftersales support.

Rita Kavashe, Isuzu East Africa’s Managing Director, highlighted the synergy's significance, solidifying Isuzu's role as a trusted transport solution provider.

Mourad Hedna, President of UD Trucks MEENA, expressed confidence in Isuzu East Africa's capability to offer excellent aftersales services. This partnership combines UD Trucks' modern range with local expertise, promising a compelling value proposition for Kenyan customers, fostering growth, job creation, and supporting the local assembly industry.

The partnership brings together the complete and modern UD Trucks range and the very strong local expertise in Truck business. This will offer a very attractive value proposition for Kenyan customers to support their growth and prosperity. The partnership is expected to create jobs and boost the local assembly industry.

Isuzu EA is gearing up to assemble the heavy-duty Quester and the medium duty Croner for sale in Kenya, with the official sales launch scheduled in the second half of 2024. Immediate after-sales support will be extended to existing UD Trucks customers to ensure a seamless ownership experience for UD Trucks customers.
